We really don't all come wired to develop personally, sometimes it's a turn of events that causes the change. For some it came as a matter of survival. Some had to after many failed attempts. However, it's never too late for change, once there is time then hope is available, therefore elevation will come.
The Elevation: 3 steps to start now!
Remember:
Change is good.
Change is necessary.
Change is inevitable.
Otherwise there will be stagnancy, lack and/death.
Fulfillment of growth doesn't come from the same position you started from.
1. First,Conceive it in your mind
"If the mind can perceive then you can achieve"
If you can change your mindset to perceive the vision that God has placed on your heart then half the battle is already won, the rest will fall into place by God's design and purpose for your life.
Easy!
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:2 NIV
Affirm the word of God daily in your life and watch Him transform you inside, out.
2. Vision becomes clearer
"Goal-setting helps distinguish relevant from irrelevant stuff. With clear vision, you are able to prioritise. Joanna Jast, Laser-Sharp Focus"
He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds come and perch in its branches.”
Matthew 13:31-32 NIV
If the seed is planted then the vision manifests naturally. Clarity helps to steer and guide you towards your goals. Faith waters and fertilizes that seed to grow.
God gives us a glimpse a literal peace of the puzzle, it's up to you to rely on him for more pieces to complete the puzzle along with the discipline, consistency, enthusiasm to keep on even when it seems daunting.
That's life. Eyes on the prize!
The view is breath taking at the top, don't miss it! Keep going!
3. Bloom
Matshona Dhliwayo
“A flower does not use words to announce its arrival to the world; it just blooms."
This is why the Scriptures say: Things never discovered or heard of before, things beyond our ability to imagine — these are the many things God has in store for all his lovers.
1 Corinthians 2:9 TPT
You may think you are insignificant and irrelevant but remember you're a seed, so the darkness many may think is not favorable but it's the catalyst for greatness! Grow where you are planted, rooted and grounded in God, nurtured by His word and watered by His living water. Give no thoughts to the environment but instead focus on gaining strength, growing and surpassing all the limits including self-made and societal ones.
Arise, shine and start/continue to be impactful, intentional, purposeful and prayerful in this life as the masterplan dictates.
