Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? James 2:21 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/jas.2.21.KJV Just saying you have faith isn't enough you have to do an action in order for it to be sealed. Word backed by faith backed by action! UNSTOPPABLE A believer who lives by the word, stands in faith and actively works those words is a STALWART! Faith is not just believing for a thing but saying it's already here, I have it so therefore I use it; call those things that be not as though they were! That's a whole-hearted trust! That's unwavering! If you believe the word then apply it, test it, prove it! Everything falls into place thereafter! Scientist come up with a "HYPOTHESIS " ie: a supposition or proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation. It can't be explained, there is limited evidence so we investigate further... But, as an example, Abraham was instructed to sacrifice is son of promise and without reservations, no questions asked, without murmuring, no signs asked for like Gideon.... he just went ahead...He believed in God answer so He trusted that if God says Isaac is my son of promise, I waited for him and he did come, miracle; God did the impossible before therefore He can do it again! So if God says sacrifice then God is powerful enough to bring him back! Without even knowing it when Isaac asked where is the lamb?, I see the wood, the fire...He replied "The Lord will provide" He activated a series of events with those words backed by his unwavering faith and his subsequent actions for God! Faith with a whole lot of works!!! Work the word! Act the word! Test the word! Speak that word! Be Blessed. Be a Blessing. KRMB
