And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray. And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy; Mark 14:32-33 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.14.32-33.KJV "Gethsemane a place or occasion of great mental or spiritual suffering. For you and for me, Gethsemane is a place of coming to terms with the will of God. It is a place where we face God's will, head-on. At Gethsemane, we look honestly and clearly at what God has called us to do." Interesting in this world of technology, there is always buzzing, chaos and movement but here we are now witnessing that what seemed impossible is actually unfolding before our eyes. The inhabitants of Earth have actually slowed down to smell the roses now. They've actually paused to hear the proverbial music playing! Many now have time, that elusive member constantly betraying us and leaving us wondering, suddenly we now have an abundance of it. I pray we would use it wisely. For repentance. For self reflection. For deeper relationship with God. For more meaningful life in this world where our purpose and destiny is fulfilled. This is what The garden of Gethsemane signifies. The moment of truth where the spirit triumphs over flesh. Where purpose does its final boarding call! Where the train of thoughts, doubts and fears comes to a grinding halt. Where self is acknowledged but true calling is welcomed! One last battle but the penultimate hurrah and victory shout! You can only see and think clearly when there is separation and distance. A locking away for quiet reflection and conversation with Jehovah-God! I pray that as you pause that you'll embrace the experience and seize the opportunity because even though Gethsemane is tough, it signals that the best is till yet to come! It signifies that soon "It will be finished"! Prayer: And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. Mark 14:36 KJV https://bible.com/bible/1/mrk.14.36.KJV Be Blessed. Be a Blessing. KRMB
